Methods for the estimation of social and environmental costs of the production of electrical energy
Social cost estimation is only one component of the information necessary to environmental policy decision-making. Progress has been made in estimating non-internalised costs of electricity production. Further investigation is needed to assess the costs of all other important phases of the fuel cycle.
