DELTA (Development of European Learning through Technological Advance) is a Community research programme which aims to develop technology-based learning systems for the 1990s and beyond. The DELTA conference, held in the Hague in October 1990, provided an overview of European research and development in learning technology. The papers contained in the conference proceedings cover the following areas: - pedagogical issues; - multi- and hypermedia; - market issues; - cross-cultural dimensions; - authoring environments; - artificial intelligence, and - telecommunications.
