Pressure-induced phase transitions and compressibility in f-metals and their compounds
Recent results of a high-pressure X-ray diffraction study of actinide and lanthanide metals are discussed with respect to the general diagrams of phase relations under pressure, published previously. Structural behaviour under pressure and compressibility of two classes of actinide and lanthanide compounds are compared.
