Diagnosis of energy systems in developing countries
In its most direct sense, energy diagnosis corresponds to the expressed needs of political and administrative authorities to obtain knowledge of the energy systems of their countries; the state of available resources, the means of energy production, conversion and transportation installations, levels and structures of consumption, prices and taxes, performance of energy enterprises and the structure of markets and their characteristics. This book provides an energy consumption diagnosis methodology for household, service, agricultural, industrial and transport sectors. It also considers the diagnosis of energy supply, the energy market, and interactions between energy supply and consumption. Finally, the methods for implementation of the diagnosis are discussed.
