Food micromarkets : Typical quality products of the Mediterranean regionsFunded under: FP1-AGRIRES 3C
The Commission intends to promote a product quality policy, several elements of which were anticipated by the EEC regulation 3808/89 encouraging, amongst other things, the manufacture and sale of products on the farm. With these aims in view, it has also employed a team of researchers to prepare a report on food micromarkets: typical quality products typical of the Mediterranean regions. This research, which may be extended to other EEC countries, is mainly concerned with cheeses, cooked meats, and minor products of greater importance than their monetary value alone would indicate.
