Abstract

After the deposition of radioactive pollutants, removal of the vegetation and of the first layer of soil is a good decontamination technique. New ways to prevent migration, resuspension and runoff and to perform top soil removal are described. Some results concerning the biological treatment of organic wastes are also presented.
