This book reviews the state of the art and predicts future needs in assessment and measurement relating to occupational hygiene (and indoor air quality), and also identifies major areas of developing interest. The importance of co-operation in Europe in the field of workplace air monitoring has become increasingly apparent in recent years. Clean Air at Work recognises this and will help to promote European co-operation in the setting of standards, method development and appraisal, measurement quality initiatives, and information management. Health and safety is also covered at the European level. The book ends with a summary which contains conclusions and recommendations for further action.
