Abstract

The individual measurement reports are presented from seventeen laboratories who participated in an intercomparison of measurements of the sound insulation of double-glazed framed windows. Measurements were made on two windows with different kinds of glazing using a precisely defined procedure. Measurements were also made with the laboratory's own measurement procedure if it was different from the prescribed procedure. Nine laboratories made additional measurements at frequencies below 100 Hz and four laboratories made additional measurements using sound intensity techniques. The analysis of the differences between the results of the seventeen laboratories is the subject of a separate EUR report.
