Absorptive removal of the impurities from the exhaustive plasma
Experimental absorption results on Na-Mordenite Small Port and (Fe,Na)- Mordenite Large Port have demonstrated that these substrates are very promising for a gas solid separation unit to be applied to the purification of the exhausted plasma stream pumped out from a D-T nuclear fusion reactor. Based on these results, the design and development of a pilot scale plant for the removal of trace amounts of H(2)O, NH(3), CH(4), CO, CO(2), N(2), O(2) and Ar from a stream of hydrogen isotopes (H(2), D(2)) is proposed.
