Abstract

A small cold leg break LOCA test has been performed in the LSTF, BETHSY, LOBI and SPES test facilities. The tests have been defined as Counter Part Test, to identify the influence of the scaling factor on governing thermalhydraulic phenomenologies. The paper describes the objectives of the Counter Part Test activity, the four test facilities and the test conditions, and presents the preliminary experimental results. This paper is the first step in the Counter Part Test Activity to present, compare and discuss the main results of the four tests, and presents no conclusions.
