This book is intended as a guide to the treatment of victims following an accident in which radionuclides have entered the body. It is a practical guide based on a review of current treatments to remove radionuclides from the body and prevent radiation-induced disease. As well as a detailed review of methods of treatment, the book presents discussion of necessary preparations, methods for assessing intakes and the principles of intervention levels.
