The set comprises the Republic of Korea, Thailand, other ASEAN countries, the People's Republic of China, India, Brazil and Mexico. An overall strategic review will also be avialable in 1992. The fieldwork on which the studies are based was carried out almost entirely in the country concerned. It analyses the economy, S&T planning and institutions, R&D spending, international co-operation and future plans.
