Extension of data management techniques to handle more complex analysis of high temperature materials data
For over ten years the High Temperature Materials Databank (HTM-DB) project has tackled the problems of material information management. Integration of analysis routines into the HTM-DB structure has been a key feature. A new phase has begun with the consideration of more advanced models of material behaviour such as the Walker and Chaboche constitutive equations. Topics covered include design issues, data storage, data structures, network technology and the use of the Microsoft Windows and Oracle environments.
