Abstract

In a scientific research institute data analysis and visualisation form a very important part of the daily routine. For this reason, in 1990 the Van de Graaf group at the Central Bureau for Nuclear Measurements started using PV-WAVE (Precision Visual-Workstation Analysis and Visualisation Environment). In this paper the capabilities of the PV-WAVE graphical tool are presented, with particular emphasis being placed on data acquisition and analysis in multiparametric coincidence experiments.
