Neutron spectrum adjustment based on activation techniques, methods sensitivity and uncertainties
In this paper a review of the various neutron spectrum adjustment procedures is given. Successive intercomparisons are discussed, and their results summarised. Both the limitations and possibilities of procedures are noted and general recommendations on the use of the codes are given. An analysis of the uncertainties on the measured neutron spectrum which are due to uncertainties in the input data is presented and the intercalibration technique for uncertainty reduction is discussed. Finally some routine procedures for uncertainty determination, together with typical results, are mentioned.
