A survey of 3 sets of accompanying measurements carried out by PTB's laboratory for dimensional standards is given in this report. The aim was to verify the suitability and quality of two transfer standards which were used in a BCR intercomparison concerning roundness and form measurements. The investigations carried out by PTB on a cylinder and an undulation standard before, halfway through and after their circulation are described in detail according to the guidelines of the BCR contract. From the results of the control measurements it can be stated that both artefacts are well suited to serve as transfer standards and that on the whole their significant shape properties have not changed throughout the circulation, within the laboratory's limits of measurement uncertainty.
