The report presents the proceedings of two days of workshops dedicated to the discussion of transport problems encountered with tokamak plasmas. Recent experimental results are reviewed, as well as the theoretical and modelling work in hand on transport mechanisms in tokamak plasmas and extrapolation of the transport properties to the conditions in a Next Step tokamak. The JET results obtained in 1991 are also presented, including a detailed description of the preliminary tritium experiment.
