Research and technology development on transnational telematic systems for administrationsFunded under: FP3-ENS
This document describes the R&D on trans-European telematic systems for administrations (better known as European Nervous System/Administrations - ENS) to be undertaken as a part of the telematics systems programme, and reflects the status of the work at March 1992. Firstly the rationale, background and impact of trans-European telematic systems for administrations is described. The scope and objectives of the programme are then discussed. The third section focuses on the implementation, engineering and verification concepts applied and addresses the scope of future work in detail. Finally, the management of the programme is explained, together with the required mechanisms to reach consensus.
