Anthropocentric production systems : Modernising European industryFunded under: FP2-FAST 3, FP2-MONITOR
Anthropocentric Production Systems (APS) are forms of advanced manufacturing which are dependent upon a balanced integration between human skills, collaborative work organisation and adapted technologies. The pamphlet, produced in association with FAST and MONITOR, provides a brief guide to APS. An outline of APS is provided and its operation, benefits and prospects are then reviewed. A short bibliography containing further reading on the subject is also included.
