The electrical resistance of USe under high pressure
The electrical resistance of USe between 2 K and 300 K was measured under pressure up to 20 GPa. The Curie temperature, derived from the maxima in the temperature derivative of the resistance dR/dT, increased strongly to a maximum at 4 GPa. At pressures above 12 GPa no indication of magnetic ordering could be found in the resistance behaviour. Results are compared with those previously published on UTe.
