Dosimetry in diagnostic radiology
The contributions to the proceedings seminar provide clear evidence that radiation protection of the patient plays an increasingly important role for manufacturers of radiological equipment, for regulatory bodies and for radiologists, doctors and assistants. Papers presented reflect the activities and work in the field of radiation protection of patients, and cover the areas of: (i) fundamental aspects of diagnostic radiology; (ii) international and national surveys; (iii) CEC extended intercomparison of dosemeters used in diagnostic radiology; (iv) units, quantities and standards; (v) instruments, measurements and measurement techniques; (vi) dose and risk assessment; (vii) quality assurance.
