Contributions to the Europhysics Topical Conference on RF Heating and Current Drive of Fusion Devices (Brussels, 7-10 July 1992)
This report contains contributions to a conference on RF heating and current drive in fusion devices, held in Brussels in 1992. The papers included are concerned with the following issues: (i) the degradation of LHCD efficiency in ASDEX as a result of scattering from edge plasma turbulence; (ii) the effects of elongation and triangularity on the propagation and absorption of lower hybrid waves; (iii) the ion Bernstein wave heating experiment on FTU; (iv) plasma density fluctuations during the LHCD experiment on ASDEX; (v) the combined injection of fast wave and lower hybrid waves in tokamak plasmas.
