Investigation, development and demonstration of a new piece of winning equipment with a descending shields system in a vertical seam
In HUNOSA, one of the methods for integral mechanisation in vertical and thin seams (50 -75 dip and 0.7-1.30 m thickness) is the ANSHA descending shields system which allows good results to be achieved, especially in those seams where sudden outbursts may occur. In the past the winning-hauling equipment of this system has limited the achievement of better results as well as the extension of the system itself. This project was concerned with the development and construction of a winning and hauling prototype which, by adjusting itself to the supporting equipment of the system, not only permits but also facilitates the application of the method.
