Case studies on application of remotely sensed data in forestry, grassland and natural vegetation in European less favoured areas
The European Collaborative programme has since 1985 served as a forum for development of applications of remote sensing data in the management of the economically less favoured areas in the EEC. The programme is a cooperative network among more than 50 institutions dealing with land use and environmental planning. Case studies on the application of satellite data for forest and grassland mapping are presented in this paper.
