The resistivity of Li doped YBaCuO (123) polycrystalline systems is discussed, following the form exp((T(0)/T)(0.25)) between 60 and 300 K. The 123 compounds have tetragonal symmetry and an oxygen content, as determined by iodometric analysis, below the stoichiometric level of 6.5-x/2, where x is the Li concentration. Monophase compounds have been observed for all Li concentrations (with the lattice parameter decreasing as the Li content increases). On increasing the Li content, the T(0) values increase and the oxygen vacancies, induced in the CuO(2) planes, decrease the hole concentration.
