Integration of remote sensing and GIS to update a multisources land cover databaseFunded under: ENV-CORINE
The CORINE Land Cover database monitors land cover all over Europe. A specific integrated geographic information system (GIS) has been used to update this database, where changes in land cover have occurred. Errors are assessed on data from both stable areas and those where changes have occurred, by a set of indices describing spatial, thematic and temporal components of the data.
