M1 transitions from p-wave neutron resonances of 53Cr
Partial radiative widths of a group of 13 p-wave resonances of Cr-53 have been measured in the energy range 12-50 keV. Magnetic dipole transition intensities are determined for 27 positive-parity final states of Cr-54 in the excitation range 0.8-5.3 MeV. An average M1 radiative strength (k(M1)) = (5.90 +/- 0.53) x 1.0 E-9/MeV(3) is obtained.
