In the framework of the present REIMEP round of UF(6) a number of samples for participants applying gamma-spectrometry for the determination of the enrichment were prepared. Specially designed containers were fabricated from Monel with well defined radiation windows. After being leak and pressure tested, the containers were filled with the respective amount of UF(6). By a particular heating/cooling procedure homogeneous spatial distribution was achieved, as verified by gamma-ray transmission measurements. Sample layer thickness proved to be more than 99.9 % infinite thickness, hence samples were accepted to be suitable for high precision gamma-spectrometry.
