Abstract

The vapour pressure and P-v-T behaviour in the superheated vapour region of difluoromethane (R32) were determined experimentally by means of a constant volume apparatus. The vapour pressure measurements ranged from 238 to 351 K, while the P-v-T experimental points were obtained along five isochores in the density range from 20 to 57 kg/m3 and in the temperature range from 273 to 360 K. A vapour pressure correlation fitting the experimental data is presented, and the P-v-T experimental points are compared with an equation of state available in literature.
