Application of fringe analysis to endoscopic DSPI images
Endoscopic probes using digital speckle pattern interferometry (DSPI) have geometrical constraints which reduce the fringe quality of the images. Two experimental arrangements are presented for real-time interferometric inspection of internal parts of objects. Image processing techniques are applied to endoscopic fringes for speckle noise reduction and fringe contrast enhancement.
