  • Value assignment at 37 C to the catalytic concentration of gamma-glutamyltransferase (EC in a reconstituted lyophilized material - CRM 319 : Addendum to report EUR 10628 EN

The report describes the work carried out to determine at 37 C an additional value to the catalytic concentration of gamma-glutamyltransferase (GGT) in a lyophilised solution of partially purified GGT from pig kidney dissolved in a bovine serum albumin matrix (Reference Material CRM 319). The preparation has been shown to be homogeneous and the loss of activity on storage at -20 C is predicted to be less than 0.1 % per annum on the basis of accelerated degradation studies. The catalytic concentration of GGT in samples of the reconstituted material has been shown to be 117.8 U/l reconstituted solution according to the IFCC proposed procedure at 37 C.
