This paper reports on a third neutron experiment carried out on a large single crystal (123 mm3) of NpTe. Below T(N) = 41 K, superlattice magnetic Bragg reflections are observed. Accurate intensity measurements in the vicinity of T(N) were made and above T(N) short range correlation is observed. These new neutron experiments have resolved some of the earlier controversy linked to this area of research.
