This new U-Sb phase was recently synthesised and its structure determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Its properties were studied using a number of different techniques, including Mössbauer spectroscopy, magnetisation and susceptibility measurements, AC-susceptibility, resistivity, specific heat, and neutron scattering. The results of these experiments are presented and possible explanations are discussed.
