Growth and characterization of UFe(9.2)Si(1.8) and UFe(6)Ge(6) single crystals
Many unexplored ternary magnetic compounds occur in the low uranium content area of U-Fe-X ternary phase diagrams. This work presents the results obtained in a phase diagram study of the UFe(12-x)Ge(x) system. Large single crystals were grown by the Czochralski method and their structural, magnetic and electric characterisation were determined.
