Experiments were performed with a batch of C3H10T1/2 cells to detect the influence of dose fractionation on neoplastic transformation induced by neutron irradiation. The first series of experiments involved the influence of radiation quality and dose-fractionation scheme using fission spectrum neutrons and then monoenergetic neutrons. The second series involved work on age-dependent sensitivity. Dose-fractionation and synchronisation experiments were performed.
