Transport of nonintrinsic impurities injected by laser blow-off method
The transport of nonintrinsic impurities injected by laser blow-off method is described theoretically by solving the two dimensional (radial and toroidal) time dependent equations of diffusion in the edge plasmas of a tokamak. Explicit expressions and evaluation procedures are given for the calculation of the density profile, temperature profile and the diffusion coefficients for the atoms injected and for the ions formed from the injected atoms.
