Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

The objective of the RACE programme, which was launched in 1985, is to promote the competitiveness of the Community's telecommunications industry, operators and service providers. This in turn should provide the final users, at minimum cost and with minimum delay, with services that will sustain the competitiveness of the European economy and contribute to the maintenance and creation of employment in the Community. In this document patents registered as a result of the RACE programme are listed. For each patent, the project identity, title and author are presented, together with other details such as the date, country, patent category, general observations and, in some cases, an abstract.
