Cost-effectiveness analysis of CO(2) reduction optionsFunded under: FP3-JOULE 2
These studies present the results of the assessment of cost-effective CO(2) constrained energy policies within ten EC countries. The report describes in detail the assumptions used and the results obtained by each national team of contractors. A synthesis report under the same title was issued in May 1991. The major output is the identification of the least-cost mix of technical options for reducing the energy dependent carbon dioxide emissions to recommended levels. Reports also address the question of the cost, feasibility and energy policy implications of meeting these targets.
