Theoretical expressions for the normalised minority current drive efficiency factors (including the presence of one impurity ion species) are presented. Efficiencies in different minority ion current drive scenarios are also investigated. The effect of the proximity of the cyclotron layer and of the inversion radius on sawtooth stabilisation/destabilisation in the minority ion current drive scheme with different phasings (+90 or -90 ) at inboard and outboard locations is studied.
