A new computer analysis method has been developed for quickly and accurately determining 235U enrichments in uranium samples. The method uses the complex set of gamma- and X-ray peaks found in the 80 to 120 keV region of a high resolution Ge detector gamma ray spectrum to perform an analysis. The method requires no calibrations and is capable of accuracies of 1-2 % in measurement times of only a few minutes.
