This article presents details of the Ministerial Conference of EUREKA at the annual meeting held in Paris in June 1993. 193 new projects were announced, bringing the number of on-going projects to 675. The admission of the Russian Federation as a future member of the EUREKA initiative was welcomed, as were special efforts being made to accommodate small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within EUREKA's industrial participants. Details of progress in cooperation between EUREKA and the EC's RTD programmes are noted.
