Space- and time-resolved investigation of gain lines in Na-like copper
This paper reports on an investigation of the spatial and temporal properties of four gain lines observed in Na-like copper. The experiments have been carried out with the Asterix IV high-power iodine laser as the pump source, with a maximum energy of 600 J on target at a wavelength of 1.315 microns and a pulse duration of 450 ps. The main results of the work are presented and summarised.
