Measurement of density fluctuations by correlation reflectometryFunded under: FP3-FUSION 11C
Correlation reflectometry, which is used to determine parameters which characterise density fluctuations in tokamak plasmas, is examined and applications in the radial and toroidal directions on JET are described. The measurements show that fine-scale density perturbations exist in the plasma and that the size and movement of the perturbations depend on plasma conditions.
