Abstract

COSYMA is a probabilistic ACA system for use in calculating the risk posed by potential nuclear accidents, taking into account the range of conditions which may prevail at the time of the accident. A simplified version of the system has been implemented on a PC. This report describes the programs and data files which are included in PC COSYMA, the models, the type of results which can be generated, the parameters for which the user can modify the values and the information which must be supplied by the user. It also indicates the differences between the mainframe and PC versions of COSYMA.
