Abstract

This study compares European standards and specifications on high-nickel alloys. Special attention has been paid to the data and guidelines presented for composition, heat treatment, physical properties, short-time mechanical properties at room and elevated temperature, and long-term creep properties at elevated temperatures. Only the standards and specifications provided by the participating organisations and one international and one European standard were compared. It concluded that the values presented for a given composition show fairly good agreement.
