Comparison of methods used for the preparation of biological CRMs
The starting material for two certified materials (CRM 281 and 129) and one candidate reference material was obtained from dried grass specially cultivated on a selected and well-prepared soil. This paper compares the production methods of the three materials and the resulting particle size distribution of the powders. A homogeneity study was also carried out for Cd, Pb and Zn by solid sampling Zeeman atomic absorption spectrometry.
