Measurement of (n,n'gamma) cross sections for low-lying levels of palladium isotopes
The (n, n'gamma) excitation functions for low-lying levels of Pd isotopes have been measured for neutron energies from 0.2 to 3.3 MeV at the 7 MV Van de Graaf accelerator at IRMM. The neutron spectroscopy has been carried out by a time-of-flight technique with a 4 m flight path. A HPGe detector has been used to detect the gamma-rays from inelastic scattering covering a broad solid angle at 90 scattering angle. The 478 keV gamma-ray line from a boron sample enriched in B-10 has been registered as a reference reaction.
