This paper describes an experiment on prompt gamma-emission correlations with fission fragments from 252Cf(sf). The aim of the investigation has been to verify whether an increased non-statistical high-energy gamma-yield is found for more symmetric fragment masses as compared to assymmetric masses. Results indicate an enhanced gamma-ray yield for more symmetric masses from 2 to 6 MeV. Visible differences have also been found for fission fragment properties if the time spectrum of the gamma-rays is divided into various regions of interest.
