Abstract

This study consists of a comparison of several dismantling cutting tools in identical working conditions with a view to optimising their use, protecting workers and minimising waste volume. The operational conditions and analytical techniques are described. The main results are presented with details of the optimal cutting speed of the tools used versus the thickness of the mild steel plates.
