Abstract

Experiments have been performed with C3H10T1/2 cells to detect the influence of dose fractionation on the neoplastic transformation induced by neutron irradiation. This report summarises the results of recent work, and compares these with data from earlier experiments. Both fission and monoenergetic neutrons were used in the present series of experiments. No significant effect of dose fractionation was found, regardless of the number of fractions or time interval between them, and independent of neutron energy.
